# How to respond to an offer?

**Place your bid.**

This option is available only if the offer is placed in the "‎Bargain"‎, "Auction"‎ or "‎Fix"‎ modes, and only for freight offers.

**Write in messenger to the person specified in the offer.**

Available for both freight and transport offers. This is the primary response method for an offer in the "‎Ad"‎ mode. Messenger is also useful when you need to clarify transportation details that were not specified in the offer.

**Contact by phone, email, Skype or other specified method.**

These contact details are used as a last resort. Please note that not all users provide their third-party contact methods. Available for both freight and transport offers.
