# How are subscription fees calculated?

**Formula**: cost per user \* number of spaces (i.e. number of users in the company on Roolz platform) + 20% VAT = total cost.

VAT is calculated automatically. If you have purchased a subscription and the price has increased, you do not need to pay anything extra while the subscription is still valid.
