# Private and public profiles: what's the difference?

1. If the profile is public, other users can find it in the companies directory.\
   When profile is public, it gets additional advertising and customer exposure through the display in Roolz directory and browser search engines.
2. If profile is private, it will not appear in the companies directory, but it can be invited as a partner.

There are several ways to find a private company profile:

* By link;

* Through your employee profiles, if you know them;

* Through published offers on the exchange.
